The Process
Understanding a base movement pattern is simultaneously a setup to understanding the next thing. All movement operates in this way. It is a hierarchy, and if you learn in the right order, your improvement will be greatly expedited.

How do we move better? Stand, sit, jump, lift, push, pull, balance…general skill acquisition, not intensity is the primary focal point of cultivating strength here. General ability and strength do not have to be mutually exclusive, but rather a mutually benefitting relationship, with one feeding the other.
You’ll get stronger because you’re moving better.

We do not employ a ‘move of the day’ approach. Instead, focus on a movement hierarchy approach to teaching: how learning begins with a base, and how such a base supports the acquisition of upper level techniques and concepts.
This isn’t about martial arts for a day. It’s for life.
